I have recently resurrected my profile after a relationship. To be honest I am suprised at the amount of messages I get from guys that haven't read my profile. Is it just me?

How do you know they haven't read them?

Are they asking you questions that you've already answered on your profile?

I'd say if they can't be bothered to read what I've taken the time to write then I can't be bothered with them.

I dont think many do...unless they are genuine & are looking for a relationship....most of the guys just look at pics & dont read anything....I read everything...must be a woman thing???

I would read *everything* on a profile before I contacted someone, more than once. I'm sure you'll find that most of the blokes who use the forum (and will therefore see this post) would say the same thing.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one but I have made certain things very clear. For instance, that I don't want to hear from chaps that only want a 'one night stands'.

At a guess I'd say those are the ones who are least likely to read your profile.

I didn't think my pic was that errrrrrrr drool over material! I thought it was okay. Thank you for pointing that out tho. Obviously I need to reconsider. As a photographer myself, maybe I see things differently. I am sorry if I have given any one the wrong impression.

Not at all, I was just pointing out that some people never get past a photo before they start typing their inane 'one night stand' drivel. I thought it was quite an artistic photo myself.

You seem to have a bit more understanding about using this site than I have. I could do with all the help I can get!

I read peoples profiles...jus 2 get an idea of da kind of person im tlkin 2! I find it interestin! I think most people jus look at da pic n think oh yh, id tap dat! Its not jus bout sex, da rest is important as wel. Im actually suprised how many guys on ere who r lookin 4 sex, 1 night stands n etc. Wher r da guys who r genuinly lookin 4 a relationship? xxxx
