Having lived in cornwall all my life sometimes you take the place for granted and miss areas that holiday makers or people who come down here find. So if your stressed or need to chill where do you like to go in cornwall?

My fav place is Gwithian beach as you can walk for miles with the sound of the sea to relax you and at night the lights from st ives help to relax you to.

You are right, we dont appreciate it, i'm not keen on sunning myself on the beach surrounded by holiday makers, nothing against them mind you....love walking along the beach of a nice evening tho....I like photography so I want to do a bit more of that soon when the weater warms up...I use to like Carbis bay when I was young but that was then, I like your choice of beach & hope to maybe visit a few in the future...I live near Poldhu & Gunwalloe beaches & not far from Kynance & the Lizard. They all have their good points....

Oh, & welcome btw Very Happy

Hello and hi to you little vixen.

Ya have never ventured to the Lizard area before and like you when the weather gets warmer will have to pop down there and have a look around. Also want to have a look along the north coast to around tintagel. So your out in the sticks abit then?

You could say that, live near Helston, between Culdrose Navy base & Goonhilly satellite dishes...if you know where that is? I also went to Tintagel beach as a child, from what I remember it was a nice beach/place....2 of my favourite places are Charlestown & Polperro...

Yes i know the area quite well as played darts around there in the past. Dont you have some wind turbines down there as well?

It is quite remote in places so what do you do to keep yourself entertained down there then?

I also like polpero and looe area and for bleakness the coast from penzance to lands end

Yes, there are some turbines, can see them from my bedroom window.

Not a lot to do around here tbh...sometimes/rarely go to town for a Friday night out but even that gets boring....I moderate on here....for fun

Keeping on topic...slap wrists...ouch!

There are many nice places around me, pretty down the Helford way...oh, and Coverack is really nice too also Cadgwith. took a few nice pics at Coverack last year... Smile
