live life with no regrets! dont be sad today, if you go out, smile at strangers, some might think you are mad, but that smile might make a difference today, to someone! thats the way im gonna spend my day cause yeh valentines day can be really sad if you let it get to you!! my relationship never worked out but i had fun while it lasted n i learnt more about myself, which is always good! keep smilin lil vixen, there is someone out there for all of us, its just bloody findin them!

Thats's a good attitude to have, some people get very bitter when things don't work out.
I talked about this in another thread (Is it possible to find love on the internet?), and I think the main thing to remember is that as long your feelings for the person were genuine whilst you were with them (and as you said, you learnt something about yourself, or something positive that you apply to your next relationship), that's all that counts, no matter how long it lasted.

hey thanks for that, bitterness and envy n and anger can consume a person, life is to short for that! you are so right in what you say thou. its all about not living with regrets, learnin n moving on!

Yes Happy Valentines to you all, I had a 6 month relationship go pearshape last month but I shall be holding my head up high knowing that I have gained a lot more knowledge and wisdom that I can hopefully use in future relationships.
But for now I best go dust off those old magazines
