The pasty (singular) is widely regarded as Cornish. Although the earliest written evidence comes from Plymouth, that does not disprove beyond reasonable doubt that its not originally Cornish. This is doubtless because our forefathers negated the need to learn to read and write. You devonians nicked the recipe thats all !! LOL

I was thinkin of setting up a agency just for the cornish & calling it "pasty lovin freaks"
