After countless thousands of pounds and over five years research (or maybe it was a tenner and two months!!) it is now recognised that the George Foreman grill is, indeed, the single mans best friend (Leave the smut at home guys!)
It has certainly saved me from a long, lingering and painful demise - George, you are a King amongst men!! But as I prepared todays fare of Pork Loin (with an apple and cider sauce), jacket potato, sweetcorn, mushrooms and tomato, I noticed what a confounded mess the mushrooms leave behind on the grill plates Anyone know anything that leaves a WORSE mess? Answers along the line of Ice-cream, soup, children, etc would be sssoooo unfunny. |
Damn!!

Then head West you poor young thing, and join me in the inaugural meeting of Friends of the Grill (FOG). First meet will be at my place - fondly known as "The Hutch" - due to its size. As such, dont bring too big a lump of cheese, as only one person at a time can fit in the Hutch, and if the cheese is too big, then it *may* have to grill itself.... Ona serious note though - yep - I can see cheese being a problem - never had a cheese spillage get from my toasties though - I am shuddering with fear now!! |
and cheese spillage is awful as its really greasy
