Talking with a few folk, it seems many are a little coy about making the first move. Maybe fear of rejection, or a hundred other reasons may come into it. But if you removed the "date" bit, many people would be quite happy to have a coffee and a yap with someone.

So who would you like to have a coffee with? No dates, expectations or hopes. Maybe because you think they are funny, witty, pretty, interesting, or just downright gorgeous. Maybe you would like to get to know someone without the pressure and embarrassment that a date can bring? Maybe you see someone as being very similar to you? Maybe you are just curious? Maybe you have always wondered whether other people are real, or want to widen your circle of friends. ...... doesn't have to be the opposite sex.


Who will start the ball rolling?

Well, I can think of a few straight away:

Jennyflower for starters, for she has something that shines through, and I'd just love to get to know her. The real her. We wouldn't hit it off, I know that, but I'd just like to meet her and yes, have a coffee with her.

Gorgeousg, for she is. In fact, I'd say she was more than gorgeous. She's really a bit young for me, but I would take the opportunity for a coffee definitely.

Madeyemindy. She could make all my fantasies come true. I just read her profile. (Again, no chance it would ever happen, so a good coffee would be compensation)

Jorja34. Hmmm. Interesting girl. Coffee would tell me lots. I'd like to meet her.

Jennybelly. Well, wouldn't you? But I really want to know what she's actually doing in that photo. I won't attempt a guess.

Although there are undoubtedly a lot more who I haven't come across yet (I've only been a member a few days), the above really do stand out from the crowd.
