Lesbians were burnt as witches many years ago. The fascination lies in the deep rooted instinct of wanting to put the fires out by throwing a bucket of water on them.

It's an age old fascination which can be summed up as "men are perverts."

To put it one way what's better than one cake? Two.

So by most mens logic what's better to look at, one women naked or two? They generally would choose two.

Yet in the end they are not going to do anything with them which makes the whole thing a bit hilarious.

What's hilarious to me is your narrow minded and naive take on men's fascination with lesbians!!! I'm just glad that the female friends I socialise with are far more broad minded, less cynical about men and generally less stereotypical than yourself.

My opinion still stands though

I seriously want to believe that our society has liberated much more in the past few years. But I still think there's something deep rooted fascination with the so called 'forbidden'. Ofcourse the flooding entries in girlsweb will echo that lesbianism is not a taboo anymore but somewhere its still something 'dark' or 'grey' to most (grey or dark neither are used in a derogatory sense, its just something 'not clearly known'). This could be a reason of the underlying fascination.

My opinion does still stand because it's my opinion. And the whole tone of your take on the topic seems to have changed from your first post. To be honest, your first post still reads with a very blinkered, simplistic and unconsidered opinion. Was this comment not a derogatory generalisation? "Yet in the end they are not going to do anything with them which makes the whole thing a bit hilarious."

Your second post though reads with a more thoughtful, intelligent and considered way. Why not write like that to start with? I also disagree with your take on being a pervert or perverted. I seriously believe that in today's society, being fascinated with lesbianism or simply watching them does not make a person a pervert or perverted in any way. Is it really deviating from what is the norm or morally/socially acceptable?

I think its just a case of men find it a turn on to see two girls together because its hot or whatever. I think if your open minded its possible to get past the reasoning, they like it and thats that.
