whats the big deal with toilet seats and females?

does it really matter if its left up or down? personally i dont have a preference and can live with it either way but girls always insist on having it down. thoughts?

I don't know why girls prefer to have it down. It makes more sense to store it up and only put it down if you need it. This is also more hygenic.

For me, I would think that most women prefer it down due to the fact that if it is NOT down and you fail to notice, you get a nice cold bath on your bum. This is especially annoying in the middle of the night, and a very rude awakening!
