| I ate at Rasa Samudra near Tottenham Court Road last night, and it was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended. |

Theres two that I can always remember, they were so good -
The langley , covent garden .food like duck confeit and tiger prawn skewers
This is a really good place to go and have something to eat, drink then have a boogie, they have a great choice of cocktails, and the eating section is small(4/5 tables if I remember right). Although they don't cater for many people at a time, I was surprised at the quality of the food - it was fantastic, perfectly cooked and very good value for the middle of covent garden. After you've finished, you can go and get on the dancefloor in the joining room, was busy till late when I went last
Blue Elephant , Fulham Broadway Thai
If you like thai food this is outstanding in all areas, presentation of the venue, food and drinks. Me and my gf at the time had a great time getting through their extensive cocktail list, most made from fresh fruit. The layout is amazing, with a stream running through the restaurant with koi carp in! You even have to walk over a small bridge or two to get to your table. The banquet meal they do is good if you don't know what you fancy, as you get quite a few small dishes for the starters/main courses. You've got to see this place to believe it, nowhere has come close.
Would be cool to go back to the elephant one day, just need to find someone to take... |

| Post subject: not your usual curry - Tayyabs |

I cant reccomend Tayyabs in Whitechapel enough.
Not your normal Indian curry, because its Pakistani curry! Forget the usual suspects on the menu, just choose some of the lamb options (dishes change daily) and dont feel left out if your veggi, and the vegitarian options are just as good. The food is just delish.
Bring your own Booze. Essential to book in advance. And unlikely that you can alter the table size when you get there so be right on numbers.
