Its always essential, unless you're in a really secure relationship with the person, and even then it takes a lot of trust.

Safety first. I saw a program on tv one morning where they sampled a random 6 sample of people from a 6th form college and tested them for stds, all of them believed that nothing would be found. It was 50%...3/6 one std may have made the girl infertile had they not discovered it in the early stages.

As for men always going on about how it doesn't feel good to be wearing a condom don't they realise that it's just the same for us women, we lose sensations too!!!
