I've not met up with anyone yet, but I've had contact with a couple of girls who don't seem to be fake.

I've encountered numerous fake profiles, and, unfortunately, met/dated fakes in person as well. It all wastes time, all is very hurtful, and all is completely pointless except for scum or the mentally ill. Trust nothing and no-one that comes via the net. Then you won't go wrong.

Someone I know got properly scammed on here, so my advice is watch out, people aren't sometimes who they say they are or look like their picture. Most known online scams come from Africa, especially nigeria...
