Home >> United Kingdom >> London >> Flirtbox searching is terrible!

Hey, I'm new here, but the site seems as though it's only half finished - I would have expected more from a site that boasts hundreds of thousands of people using it daily.

For a start, the site doesn't seem to care whether I'm looking for women or men... the homepage always defaults to "Recent men" at the top, even though I'm a man and don't really care what other men have joined.

Seeing who's online also brings back men and women, and you can't restrict the results to and area (such as London) that would be more helpful.

And finally, How on earch do you search? Is it too much to ask that I want to be able to list potential matches by some search criteria, such as where they live?

Seriously guys, Is it just me or is this "Free" site only free because it's worthless?

Or am I missing something?

Cheers

Oh, and just found another "feature". Viewing the Gallery, and selecting "women" from UK - first profile is from australia.

Sort it out Flirtbox! I work in Web development, and if this is as good as it gets, I'm seriously tempted to create a free dating site of my own. It's not hard to remember a user's preferences on what area, gender etc they want to be shown.

Try reading the help topic with threads of the same quastions...other than that go to bottom of page & search by location, take time to find ur way around the site....also in gallery you can specify the area of your search.. Confused

Hi also new and having some trouble with a few of the features but taking the time to figure it out,
my photo dont show to me, but had messages others can see it, mind i can only see a few photos, most are of the shadow.
i do think though maybe its about getting to know ppl first and not just drooling over pictures of potenial women or men that you would...

Is there a way to look at certain criteria, ie age?
if you get the answer let me know, ta,

If you go to settings (on the main site not the forum) and select the old style flirtbox option you can still use the megasearch which has an age option amongst other things.

Not yet in the new one as far as I'm aware.

(shystef your photo is visible on profile but not on forum)

I agree, you'll be married and have 10 children before being able to find what you're looking for on this website! Sex, area, age, orientation, relationship status search filters would be really appreciated. I know that some of those options are already somehow possible, but none of them is user friendly!
