Ok, I've been lurking here for a while now so I thought I should start to fuly contribute to the forum community.

So here is my attemp of starting a discussion. I'm starting this thread as about 80% of the messages I get are from guys who obviously just want no strings attached love which is a total turn off. No where in my profile does it say this is what I want so it's a bit annoying. It's not really a huge problems, I just get used to pressing the delete button

However with that in mind I do rate love very highly on my list of priorities when it comes to relationships. If the love is not good I always struggle to maintain the spark in a relationships. I promise I'm not shallow, it's just important to me! Twisted Evil

I was thinking a lot about this and I was wandering how important love was in a relationship to others?

Quite important, but not the most important thing.
Having said that, if love isn't going well then I would guess that it's either a problem, or indicative of problems elsewhere.

well considering I haven't had love in like 3 years, its not important to me, but I guess in a relationship it is important.

I've had my shre of 50 year old nymphos asking me if I can travel though...im like '' I am 18...why would I possibly be interested in some who is old enough to be my grandmother? ''

Its makes me laugh so it isnt to bad...=]

it's like oxygen its only really important if your not getting any,

srsly tho it can be a boon to many relationships, and a lot of fun, carnt say ive chucked someone for it, but most would be would be willing to learn if it benifits both of you

No matter if you mention it or not, they'll take it as you're here for love unless you highlight your preference. Its not just you, 90% of all experience such annoying proposals.

love is important indeed but there are other aspects of life too.Honestly, everyone enjoys love even me too but I just don't prefer to contact strangers for nice fun thats the point most don't understand.

love can make or break a relationship if two people have very different ideas, preferences and 'urges'
love may not be the most important aspect of a relationship, BUT if either person doesn't feel fulfilled or able to express themselves sexually then the relationship can go downhill pretty fast. Rolling Eyes

In other words...

If your wife ain't having love with you, then she is most probably having love with someone else..

as I came to find out anyways.. the silly bitch.

Rubbish! I was married to my husband for 17 years, didn't sleep with him for the last 2 years of the marraige and was entirely faithful throughout. Marriages are not so easily pigeon holed, nor are people.

As to the original question - its massively important to me BUT I think good love happens when communication and the relationship is good. Without that there's a chance that even the best love can become stale and end up effecting the relationship.

Christ, that was a bit deep for me... (no pun unless. Honest)
