I think friendship and trust are the most important things in a relationship but that said when your relationship is still in its honeymoon stage love is a very important factor, it helps you to get to know one another more intimately. I do agree though, why do so many men on here start talking about love so quickly? Especially when we haven't even suggested it on our profiles (ok my picture may be a bit sexy but).

I think that love is one of the most important parts in a lasting relationship. It is just as important as having the same taste in music or liking the same movies. If two people aren't compatible in bed, then I don't think they can be that compatible out of it.

My sister and her boyfriend have been dating for 2 years. They haven't gone any further than holding hands and they are talking about getting married in two years. They are really religious and plan on waiting until they are married to do the deed. When I asked her what she was going to do if he sucked in bed she said that since she hadn't had anyone else then she wouldn't know if it was good or bad. I had to argue. When I lost my virginity it was bad. I thought I was in love and the love just ruined it. I couldn't imagine going to bed every night with that waiting for me.

I guess I am hard to please because I have only had one lover that got a repeat performance. The repeat performance lasted 3 years, and since then I still haven't found one that gets past the try-outs. That sounds so slutty to say....that I have only had love with one guy more than one time.
