am i really to young for this, everyone is talking about dating sites now. saying its the "new thing"

Surely only you can decide if you're too young for this kind of thing? Doesn't it depend on what you want from a dating site?
For example if you want to meet 50 year old men for games of swing ball, I'm sure that there's not a lot of scope for that outside the local co-op. But if you want somebody to buy your cigarettes for you, there'll be an abundance of people.
I guess dating sites allow you to meet people with similar interests, without the leg work that it might normally take to meet these kinds of people. And let's face it, if I like going to gigs, it's difficult for me to meet somebody there, because it's too loud to get a conversation going.
