My fravorite pub in Camden has closed! the Fusilere and Ferkin was I think its most recent name. Turned up there not so long ago for a pint or three and a watch of whoever was playing that Sat lunchtime - to find a fkin woman's cloths shop! Wasn't even alternative - barbie shit only! Evil or Very Mad

But yes, London's good for live, bit dead out here between Watford and Uxbridge, Croydon used to have a good place, the Cartoon Club, was my local early 90's, saw loads of good bands - Bad Influence, Papa George, Basil's Balls-Up Band and loads more. Seen Dumpies Rusty Nuts at the Marquee - is that still going?

The marquee in Hertford? Yep that's still going! There's loads of 'seemingly un alternative' chain pubs getting on the live music bandwagon (scuse the pun) It's just a matter of finding them!! Although you can't beat Camden for a good night out!

Yeah i agree camdens good. But I do get f-d off when good underground music pubs/clubs get the £££ signs in there sites, turning into wine bars or hikeing up there prices with no tolerence bouncers on the door. still prefer the underground spots. Anyone ever been to a squat rave?
