Borough Market is a good experience as well as the champagne bar at Kings Cross Eurostar, its worth it to see how much you can buy a bottle for a drink while looking at a platform.

A few from me London Boy all my life work there but live in kent now

Tate Modern - even if you dont like the art its cool get there across the bridge near St pauls - so cool and romantic if that what u need

British museum great court - spectacular - check out the old reading room too - very impressive and unusual place to eat - bit pricey but v cool

South Bank on a summer sunday - uber cool plenty places for a coffee

Camden - very cool but getting a little too mainstream for some

Still for me the best capital city in the world!!

I would also recommend putting some time aside for some walking, so you can get a feel for the place.

The Thames Walk is pretty for getting a feel for how London has developed and walking around Charring Cross, Buckingham Palace and Westminster is highly recommended too.

Another alternative ideas is to visit Speaker's Corner in Hyde Park, pay a visit to that chap in Parliament Square and maybe even track down a demonstration you can join as they can double as a walking tour of the city!

An A-Z will help you find your way and a good tip is to navigate by the taller buildings, such as Centre Point tower.

Hope this helps,

Polite Gorilla
