I'd like to think that there is a caring intelligent and quirky woman in her 40's reading this message who like me remains a bit aloof and isnt looking to plunge into an instant happy ever after relationship for whatever reason but would like some intimacy , company , fun and conversation with someone who can also remember the punk years , new romance and grunge and still has an ongoing interest in music , gigs, the occasional festival and the arts.

Could that be you?

Do you care about the environment and what happens to people out there in the culture? Do you have interests and passions of your own and really enjoy your own space too ?

I think people can choose both paths - freedom and connection , autonomy and intimacy and friendship and sensuality as not all human relationships or human beings for that matter require/need that deep intensity of emotion and , to my mind, unrealistic expectation that people often rebounding from other relationships feel compelled to invest in new ones often with the same unhappy results.

I'm not on the rebound simply looking for different type of thoughtful , considerate and hopefully mutually satisfying relationship that doesnt swallow us up and spit us out as each other if you know what I mean.
