BBW.. theres no such thing,, it should be FUW.. they should get off their fat arse and do some exercise but they are so lazy

I dont agree with your sentiments .. I do defend your right to believe what you choose. However you chose an unfortunate forum to air your views. I am a FUW (in your opinion) but I do have feelings and I am sensitive about my shape .......you however gave no thought to the emotional baggage that sits behind weight, you didnt consider any health impact that may cause a person to put on weight. What I would say is that seldom have I come across such a bigoted sentiment. Have your preference by all means ...I do ... but dont abuse people for being overweight its unbecoming of a gentleman.... but then you aren't one are you? May I suggest you take time out to consider that, regardless of looks or lack of, regardless of ability or disability, regardless of shape, gender and whatever else you want to add into that you think firstly that we are human and treat us accordingly, politely and with the respect you clearly never had instilled into you. Im not remotely angry but saddened that this world has people like you in it so good luck in changing ... you won't mind that I don't hold my breath while you do though will you?

Its just a way of you not facing the truth, the truth is hard to accept.

Its like somone who smokes saying, oh I enjoy it, Ive got every right to smoke, its the only pleasure Ive got in life etc.. but all those who used to smoke will tell you.. god I was so stupid sucking on that poisonious stick for years on end, I smelt of smoke, my clothes and home smelt of smoke and I was unhealthy..

You ask anybody who was fat and successfully regained a healthy weight and they would tell you.. I was so lazy, I had no self worth, I made excuses for myself not to diet and kept eating convenience food, I pretended to family and friends that I was happy with my appearance ect ect, but I am so glad that I finally found the discipline to do something about it and I feel 1000 better now.
Yes you are human being and deserve respect.. but if you can't respect yourself then you can't expect other people to respect you.

And the first step is to face the cold hard truth and admit that you have got a problem and you want to make a change for the better.

Do you know I must be the exception that proves the rule. What I would say uis that I was amazed when i lost the weight how all those people who ignore me before suddenly wanted me ...not in a nice way. I would liked to be more toned but smaller thinner ....no ....take me as I am or take the high road. I have said it before I am more than the sum of my parts

I do respect myself I respect the massive journey I have made to get where I am today, despite the inordinate number of obstacles that have been placed in my path. In addition I respect people unconditionally in the initial stages ...until they demonstrate a bigotry (sic) that makes them no longer worthy of my respect.

Its simple I choose not to judge people initially - I wait for them to shine or not before I make any judgements....... and size or lack of it incidentally because very slim people might just be judged badly too doesnt come into the equation

Mm had a quick skim through this topic, and it pretty much covers what most guys think but normally Im sorry to say women dont believe us.
Guys do tend to prefer women who dont diet themselves to a stick. We like women to be women.Women who arent afraid to have some cake and indulge in chips with lots of mayo on top.
The normal image of stick thin women is marketed by fashion magazines, normally edited and marketed by women and gay men.And neither, judging by the craze for size 0, appears to have any idea what most men desire.
Of course being big doesnt mean its a sit on your arse and eat what you like card.Indulging your desires comes at a price. The price is respecting your body by putting in the work to counter to many pies.Becasue big is beautiful but plain flabby is just un attractive.
Men and women are guilty of letting themselves go in this department.Men with over hanging beer guts, women who arent teenagers trying to fit into crop tops and hipster jeans. The image is one not easily forgotten, and surely a timely reminder for all concerned to respect and improve the body their lucky enough to own.

I am damn sexy. Ain't no 2 ways about it. My shape remains curvy on a weight spike or a low. I am grateful for my genetics. I think the confidence you exude makes all the difference in the world.

*my 2 cents*

Man, you are so way off the mark its unreal. Do you honestly think that size zeros and all those cat walk models is natural? Now THATS unhealthy. We are spoon feed these images in every advert or TV programme we see and to the point where its deemed the norm. Size zero most definitely should not in any situation to depicted at the 'prefect size' for anyone. It is the totally wrong impression that people should be given. Just because we are told it is the size to be doesn't mean its true.

Having read the rest of the thread now, i think our friend here is the only one to have anything negative to say. I think the worst thing that could happen now is that people pay him anymore attention, in this thread anyway.

My own take on it is that i'd agree with some of the people who have said that extremes aren't good, health wise extremes are not the most practical way to live your life and people too big and too small should be encouraged to prioritise their own well being if only to ensure you have a better quality of life.

I think most reasonable people with any ability to read between the lines will know that the 'perfect size' that is portrayed in the media etc. if far from normal and serves no purpose in the normal scheme of things (taking demographics etc. into account). Some where in the middle, a happy medium if you will is the best representation of society and human nature.

Now can we get this thread back on track quick smart ..... appreciation for the fuller figured women among us and how good they look Wink
