it's fab to here all you guys praising us curvy girls...but thanks to a nation that seems to be hooked on shows like hollyoakes and mags like heat and cosmo...and not forgetting the WAG obsession it wont change anything!!

sure a girl with confidence will appear more confident...but a lot of the time the confidence is a front!!

well, i would love to be confident, but alas i'm far from it, .... men say they love curvy women, but why is it that nearly all us curvy women get treated like crap, and the blokes we're with normally go off with skinnier women ????
i portray a bubbly confident person, but people don't know how i really feel inside

i think that women have a perception that men want thin women purely because if you go out, thats what they go for and i guess thats how larger women criticse themselves, but curves are beautiful!!! i love my curves but like all women we do have our own insecurities x

So do any of you ladies in this thread prefer larger men or do you all want slim blokes?

i personally prefer bigger built men, although i go for personality more than anything, but i do believe that there has to be something physical that atracts you to the other person to make a relationship with them. that could be that you just like thier eyes or they have a great smile that draws you to them, but looks aside, if they haven't got the personality, i would never go out with them, no matter how good they looked

i'm sizes 14/16, and i think i'm on the large side of life but that doesn't mean i'm gonna do anything about it. I want to become fitter (more active, don't let your minds wander lol) not thinner

As a bigger girl myself, i'm under the influence by all my mates to be thinner, and for some reason, i love being the way i am! only once have i felt bad about myself, but now that i'm actually proud of myself,couldn't give a monkeys ! us bigger girls, know we're bigger so we should stop hiding it ! and flaunt those bigggggggg bums, cos i kno i do !! loves it x xx

Yeah wooo yeah that's all great and everything, and this is all fine when it's all about women. It's all "ooh yeah bigger women are beautiful", "oohhh love us the way we are" etc etc. When it's blokes it's "lose weight you fat bastard." I hate this whole "BBW" thing.
