Tell honestly a bit about yourself, and your likes and the qualities you like best in the woman you want as a girlfriend.

Please do not get discouraged and put a profile on many different websites.

I have done the same thing, at this time of my life I am only looking for condenders. Someone I see sharing my life with.

I don't answer men I find unattractive or unkept.
I do not answer men who are vulgar or seem too girly or posessive, or somewhat creepy.

I do answer men who talk respectfully, care about their appearance, are christian, honest about their needs and have some drive and determination.
They can be confident, but not arrogant or smug.

You will get some rejection, but trust me if you find the right woman she will answer you and treat you with the kindness and affection you deserve.

Sorry I am one of those women who don't reply, however I also have un-responded to messages so this isn't just a gender thing. My main reason for doing so is so as not to hurt the feelings of the person who has messaged me. If I don't find someone physically attractive then really would it be considerate to point that out to them? The most annoying ones however are people without profile pictures. Why would you expect a reply? You can't be bothered showing your face then we can't be bothered replying. I think we just have to accept that we sometimes don't float peoples boats and shouldn't need an explanation why.

To be fair though.... you'll notice that a lot of them don't even check the message... which kind of makes this whole thing pointless :S I myself sent out a few messages in the past couple of days, to which only one of them read! That one that didn't reply, i thought, ah, fair enough, they aren't interested... but to the ones who just don't even click and open the message, i'm just, confused about... why sign up in the first place?

....although now after typing that feel completely stupid as i realised i'd mistaken the icons for something that they weren't.... nevermind!

Honestly, i wouldn't reply to guys who send me messages without a pic... Why should they see me and like my pic to send me a mess. when i can't see them to reply...most of them ask for pics..and what they ask afterwards is much more when u accept some chat...not serious...only something in their minds..i'll let u guess...we're like dolls,they can play with and throw to the bin when they've had enough!!! first step is to get a pic. except you only contact non pic female...

2nd thing is that women/girls want to get discovered.
they all are waiting for that someone who is doing all the stuff for them. perfect in any kind.
when you are too passive, it wont work like this.
they are not curious about something they dont know at all.

usually the older the girls/women are, the more interested they are in someone who is not like the others they met before.

Hmm, doesn't seem as though the situation's improved, either. I've not been on here long but I'm finding that I don't seem to get replies to messages, or usually that the messages aren't even being read.

If you don't have a profile picture or if that person doesn't find you physically attractive, that may slim your chances of reply. Sad, I know.

Secondly, it depends on what is written on your profile, if anything at all - if it doesn't interest the person or there isn't anything on there - don't expect a reply.

Thirdly, send a quirky mail with witty comments and start a bit of banter. Women are outnumbered on this site, which for us - is great! But for you, means competition. If your mail is dull in comparison to someone else's who makes her laugh - who's do you think she's more likely to reply to? It's not rocket science.

Most of this is done because of laziness though, apologising or saying they're not interested. The amount of mails on here, you could have anything from 20 to 30 mails to read each time you log on so sometimes it's just a waste of time replying to everyone, they'll find someone else on the site that has common interests.
