Personally I demand access to the kitchen. I have to cook somewhere and bedroom is not the best place for it. Altough combination of both places with various activities can be quite nice.

I can speak for myself only and I'm not the one to judge in what % I'm decent or not, but I think that various experiences, which can make you more grown up, can also make you more carefull when it comes to relationships. From own experience can say that "long term relationship" of any type doesn't come just like this. Noone will be perfect from the beginning so if you need long term relationship, you will have to start with short term one and try to work on it, probably with accepting some things which are not perfect (it's hard to change people). Which, unfortunately, can mean some frog kissing if you weren't lucky the first time. And, even if you had some luck, it doesn't mean that the perfect state will last forever just like this...
