Unfortunately it has come to my attention that there has been rioting within Nottingham. It comes with a great sense of unease that I say thus: It brings me great sadness to think our city that was one one of country's best and still is, is resorting and levelling its self to such petty indiscriminate acts of injustice that has been witnessed and will no doubt be occurring over the past week and the future days to come.

Me, Personally? I think the Army should be brought in like 95% of the other country's in the world. The army in the UK really doesn't exist on a more practical basis. Sure, we have the TA and SAS etc.. but its not like the police are willing to just go rampaging systematically through the streets firing rubber bullets with a " take no prisoners, " attitude like alot of country's do. I think the legislation that exists to in other words stop our country from being like all the others and stop any stupid human rights violations occurring is in this instance a ridiculous plight of injustice. I'm sure most of you would agree with me that firing rubber bullets and having a few bruises on your legs from rubber bullets is a small price to pay to stop your business from being burned down or indeed looting taking place. Its an absolute disgrace these people are going to get away with it.

The Home Secretary on the television this morning, came close in comedic value to an episode of " Faulty Towers, where Basil pretends Sybil is ill who is actually Polly in disguise, " Unfortunately, she can talk as much as she wants about the police force and reforms but frankly, when our economy is near collapse... this isn't going to be a viable option frankly, even more so when she said the police force need to be tougher yet they refuse to bring in the army and water cannons... I mean, water vs. Looters? harsh reality (sarcasm detected)

What do you suggest?

Well Frankly, Nottingham dare I say is fairly rural in terms of country and still a big farming presence within and around Nottingham, so we can all sit here , to coin a cleche ' Tutting, drinking tea and cursing at the television at those scallywags!' but unfortunately, the threat of violence and indeed potentially devastating effects is a very real one.

I honestly don't think there will be any major reforms untill the economy collapses totally like Zizek talks about, untill there are no jobs literally going... the government is in ruins and there are riots everywhere. Only then a restart of our entire system occur will should be through a slightly nice version of communism... socialist capitalism which would breed healthy consumerism. The way this would work is the government and big businesses share their profits and extra money to help new individuals and smaller companies... thus creating an almost level playing field of expertise and wealth divided up.

Sorry for this lecture, I hope you found it interesting!

We are going to have to face up to some realities. In some ways these are victims of out society, although there no excuse for looting and burning houses.

If we dont put things right, and right the wrongs of decades of bad governments..it will only happen again.

How we are going to put it right is the hard part. Maybe national service? but we definitely need a better economy and more jobs.

Correction, they are victims of a fucking idiotic society bought about my the conservative government. David Cameron doesn't have a clue, lets face it. Boris Johnson would of been better as prime minster.. by now we'd all have a buss on our drive way and be wearing boater hats haha. I agree we have to face upto the reality but lets face it.. we talk about facing upto stuff but there just is never 1 singular point in which the government will say " were a complete bunch of morons, its game over, " they'll talk and spew over it for years whilst in the REAL world people are dying every second.

I don't think people in the UK should be allowed to vote on our government at all, I think it should be foreigners and Europeans as Slajov Zizek talks about as we just vote with almost tinted eyes, without having the ability to look at the entire picture as a whole and critically.

They are victims of a failing society, brought about by both parties over the last 30/40 years. Labour was just as bad.
