Personally I do prefer women with curves, having said that sexiness is more about attitude and personality that body type I guess.

Some slim girls are hot, just as some fuller figured ladies are.

If someone is confident, happy with their body and comfortable in their own skin then they are going to appear sexy no matter what their size.

So I guess it boils down to confidence to a degree.

I think it would be pretty rude to cut short a date without seeing how thing worked out, unless you obviously clashed personality wise and really didn't get on. It's a bit shallow to cut short a date because someone didn't look how you imagined isn't it?

Well, I'd prefer to let them know that I'm a bit plump in the body and not get a shock reaction from them when meeting up.

I agree with you, i'd like to think that people are honest about their looks and personalities before meeting for a date so I don't see how you could be suprised.

Most people have profile pics so you can get an idea about whether you like the look of people and find them attractive.

That's why I thought it a bit shallow to cut short a date. If you're going on a date you must have built up some kind of rapport and find the person attractive on some level, otherwise why agree to go on a date?

Curves are great provided they are accompanied by other attributes; such as, confidence and imagination. Its all about the brain and the attitude for me.

For those reading this thread that might be interested I must apologise that there is no picture yet - I am waiting for the powers that be to unlease my image upon the inter net. But i can assure you all once again I like curves and I have curves.

A girl whi has curves and isn't ashamed of them is a huge turn on. Nothing is better than a woman who knows how to carry herself

I myslf am a curvy girl and I completely understand where you are coming from having had contact with people online well established but cut short when meeting because I'm not the figure type they like. That said I am comfortable with how I look and would rather have someone appreciate me the way I am. I think it pretty rude to cut short a date due to someones image, after all in the long run personality will be what keeps your interested, if you clash with the persons attitude things will not last long Smile

to me curves are a massive turn on, but any girl who can accept what she is and be confident with it is so really appealing.

Doesn't this boil down to honesty? If you make it clear what your appearance is like (and webcam chat is quite good for this) then any 'incompatibilites' can be sorted out much earlier. However, if you portray yourself as a stick insect and then arrive on a forklift truck pallet, it's bound to be a shock. Likewise, being honest about your preferences from the start should avoid ambiguity where there should be a clear idea. All this talk of being unbiased or unprejudiced is very romantic and idealistic, but in the real world people are only human and do have certain preferences. In other words get it sorted before the date!

This could apply to anything - vegetarianism, height, music taste, etc etc - not just curviness.
