Having lived here now for 4 years as a Dutchman and having become anglicised (yes i speak it fluently, dream and think in English, and I like fish and chips), I have really started to like the English people/habits, but what I would like to know is: what do you think of the Dutch? Tell us about your Dutch experience....

I've been to Amsterdam four times, so you could say i'm a fan of Holland and the Dutch people in general! All the Dutch people I have met have been fantastic, so in short, its a great country!

Hmm I wouldn't want to tar a whole nation with the same brush, but my Auntie is dutch and she can be a real nightmare! Arrogant and rude are apt descriptions...

I am impressed with most Dutch people's command of foreign languages though..

your right, dutch aunties can be very annoying and about the languages... we have to learn them cause everybody refuses to learn Dutch..

oh I love the dutch... great people... nice accent... good fun to be with... don´t know about aunties ....

nice to know that everybody loves us...

Was friends with a dutch girl at uni. The accent was really cute and she was really pretty. I love the whole liberal attitude they have to everything out there and how the government doesnt interfere in individuals rights. I think tolerance and freedom of choice lead to a very healthy outlook on life.
